A proven professional,
knowledgeable about the local market, he has been
quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal,
Commercial Record, Darien/New Canaan/Rowayton
Magazine, New York Living, The Darien Times, The
Stamford Advocate, and is a frequent contributor to
the Darien News Review. Creative and performance
oriented in his approach to marketing, he was
recognized by the New England Press Association for
creating the Best Color Display Ad of the Year in
2005.
A local area resident for the last 25 years, Doug
and his wife are avid sailors and skiers; their
three children ski, sail, play lacrosse, string
bass, oboe and ride horses.
Doug holds the designations Certified Residential
Brokerage Manager, Certified Residential Specialist
and Graduate of the Realtors Institute. He held the
sales management position for William Pitt Sotheby’s
in Darien from 1988-1995 and was instrumental in
opening the firm’s Rowayton waterfront office in
2004.
